刘思怡1998年出生于上海，硕士毕业于伦敦艺术大学camberwell学院绘画专业，目前生活在上海。
ash的作品植根于对身体和超空间的探索。通过使用象征元素和隐喻，她试图将观众带入一个微观世界--一个充满神秘和想象力的边缘空间。空间性和边缘性是ash经常关注的点，她试图找到一个既与我们的身体相连，又在现实世界中看不见的模糊空间。她的作品涉及纸本绘画、油画、装置、影像和玻璃工艺。
Ash is an artist currently based in Shanghai. Growing up in a religious home as a child drew her attention to the occult and spirituality. Her work is rooted in the exploration of the body and hyperspace. Through the use of symbolic elements and metaphors, she attempts to bring the viewer into a microcosmic view of the world - a liminal space filled with mystery and imagination. Spatiality and liminality are points that she often focuses on, she tried to find an ambiguous space that is both connected to our bodies and yet invisible in the real world. Her work explores drawing, painting, installations, video and glass.
